Kesh woman convicted of benefit fraud - 09 April 2008
A Kesh woman was convicted of benefit fraud at Enniskillen Magistrates' Court today.
Mary Cooper (56) of Highgrove, Kesh, claimed Income Support totalling £5,727 while failing to declare she had capital. She was given a conditional discharge.
Ms Cooper is also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 111 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
