Enniskillen man convicted of bnefit fraud

A man was convicted of benefit fraud at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Adrian Carney (38) of Drumbeg, Enniskillen claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £1,645 while failing to declare he was living with his partner. He was given a £250 fine and ordered to pay court costs of £61.
Mr Carney is also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 132 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
