Belfast woman convicted of benefit fraud - 22 April 2008
A Belfast woman was convicted of benefit fraud at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today.
Tracey McClean (41), of Kilburn Street, claimed Income Support totalling £3,836 while failing to declare she was working full time. She was given twelve months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £37 court costs.
Mrs McClean is also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
